They use the finest quality long staple mercerized base thread. This gives a high sheen with a low knotting rate. Because it is hand dyed there is no abrupt colour changes and  has short colour runs . 

They come in three weights so there is something suitable for most projects. Stranded Cotton, Pearl 8 and Pearl 12.
